Deletion of Smart Buddy Mobile App Profiles

Follow the guides below to delete your Smart Buddy Mobile App Parent Profile or Child Profile.


Important information

  • Deletion of a Smart Buddy Mobile App profile is permanent, and cannot be reinstated.
  • Deletion of a Parent Profile also deletes all Child Profiles under this profile.
  • All data will be inaccessible upon deletion.
  • Get in Touch with Us to terminate all linked Smart Buddy cards before deletion.
  • Your data will be kept for 7 years in compliance with regulatory and administrative purposes.
Deletion of Parent Profile

Step 1
Tap on the Hamburger icon in the main dashboard.

Tap on User Profile.

Scroll down to tap Delete Parent Profile.

Read the information carefully. To proceed, check the box I understand all of the above and tap Delete Profile.

Ensure that all linked Smart Buddy cards are terminated – to terminate them, please Get in Touch with Us.

Tap Confirm to confirm the deletion request.

Step 6
Enter the verification code sent to your email address and your Parent Profile will be deleted.

Tap on the Pencil icon in the main dashboard.

If there is a linked Smart Buddy card, Get in Touch with Us to terminate it. This termination will take effect after 1-2 working days.

If there is a linked School Smartcard/ EZ-Link card, unlink them by tapping the Update button.

From the pop-up, tap the Delete button.

Tap the 3 Vertical Dots at the top right corner of the screen.

Tap Delete Child’s Profile.

Tap OK to acknowledge that this Child Profile has been successfully deleted.
